Stodder's Neck is a peninsula at the mouth of the Back River. The park provides harborside walking trails and a hilltop view.

This former Naval airfield is now a beautiful waterfront park. Squantum Point offers great views of the Boston Skyline across the harbor and is a popular spot for birdwatching.

The 965-acre Spencer State Forest features trails that run for miles through the woods and across rivers. Visitors can picnic at Howe Pond, cross-country ski, and snowmobile.

The Southwest Corridor Park is a 4.1 mile, linear park stretching from the Back Bay to Forest Hills. The park links South End, Back Bay, Roxbury and Jamaica Plain withstreet-level, greenway. Recreational facilities include: 11 playgrounds, 2 spray pools.

The park offers many hiking trails and breathtaking views of the Connecticut River Valley. Reach the summit of Mt. Holyoke by road or hiking trail.

This 700-acre pitch pine and scrub oak forest is located on the western end of Cape Cod, and offers more than 15 miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding. Camping is a favorite activity from early summer to the fall.

Savoy Mountain State Forest offers more than 50 miles of trails. You can also camp at one our tent sites, or reserve a log cabin.

This northern hardwood forest includes hiking trails and York Lake, which is stocked with trout and open to non-motorized boats.

Rumney Marsh is a 600-acre salt marsh located within the Saugus and Pines River Inlet. Visitors can bird watch, fish, and boat.

Roxbury Heritage is home to the c1750 Dillaway-Thomas House, one of the oldest structures in Roxbury. This building served as the headquarters of the Continental Army in 1775 during the Siege of Boston.
