Rumney Marsh is a 600-acre salt marsh located within the Saugus and Pines River Inlet. Visitors can bird watch, fish, and boat.

Roxbury Heritage is home to the c1750 Dillaway-Thomas House, one of the oldest structures in Roxbury. This building served as the headquarters of the Continental Army in 1775 during the Siege of Boston.

Located just North of Boston, Revere Beach was the first public beach established in the United States. Visitors can walk Revere Boulevard, which runs parallel to the beach.
