Maudslay State Park features 19th century gardens and plantings, rolling meadows, towering pines, and one of the largest naturally-occurring stands of mountain laurel in Massachusetts. It's the perfect place for a walk, bike ride or picnic.
Head out on foot or by bike on Massasoit State Park's trails. This is an especially nice park to visit in the fall, when you can see the contrast of scarlet cranberry bogs and pine trees. There are also plenty of ponds in which to fish.
