At the center of Tolland State Forest sits the 1,065-acre Otis Reservoir, which offers a variety of recreational activities. A boat launch available for boats up to 24 feet in length. No watercraft, except pontoon or sail powered boats, may exceed 24 ft. The state of Massachusettes does not provide any accessible swimming options at Tolland State Forest. Sudbury Reservoir

The Sudbury and Foss Reservoirs are the emergency water supply for the DCR/ Massachusetts Water Resources Authority water supply system. The main sources of water are the Quabbin Reservoir, Wachusett Reservoir, and Ware River.

Southwest Corridor Park

The Southwest Corridor Park is a 4.1 mile, linear park stretching from the Back Bay to Forest Hills. The park links South End, Back Bay, Roxbury and Jamaica Plain withstreet-level, greenway. Recreational facilities include: 11 playgrounds, 2 spray pools.
